LEARN TO SEE DIFFERENTLY
Photography is more than camera settings.
It’s about vision, composition, light, and learning to recognize the possibilities within a scene.
Through my online classes and in-person photography workshops, I help photographers develop their skills, strengthen their creative vision, and create more intentional photographs.
ONLINE PHOTOGRAPHY CLASSES
LEARN ANYWHERE. CREATE EVERYWHERE.
As an instructor with KelbyOne, I teach photography with an emphasis on composition, long exposure, black & white photography, and developing a stronger photographic vision.
My classes go beyond camera settings. I focus on why an image works, how elements interact within the frame, and how thoughtful composition can transform a photograph.
IN-PERSON PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS
LEARN. SHOOT. EXPLORE.
There is no substitute for being on location with your camera.
Through Scott Kelby Workshops, I lead small-group photography experiences in some of the world’s most inspiring destinations.
Together, we explore composition, long exposure, street photography, architecture, landscape, and—most importantly—how to recognize and create stronger photographs.
MY APPROACH TO TEACHING
The most valuable skill a photographer can develop isn't found in the camera menu.
It’s the ability to see—to recognize balance, understand light, notice relationships between shapes, lines, people and spaces, and know what belongs inside the frame.
Technique gives you the ability to make the photograph.
Vision gives you a reason to make it.
My goal is to help you develop both.
A stronger photograph begins with a stronger way of seeing.
